Remove RJ45 connector
2) Lift the CN901 connector from the circuit board.
3) Place the new component on the circuit board. Be sure that it matches the footprint.
4) Solder the new component.
USB connector P103, P104 (VA) & P701, P702 (RA)
Repair the USB connector:
1) Use a hot air gun to melt the solder on the pins. Pin solder with soldering iron and absorber. You can gently
push down with the soldering iron once everything is molten to move the P103, P104, P701, P702 out of
the through holes.
Remove USB connector
2) Lift the P103, P104 (VA) & P701, P702 (RA) connector from the circuit board.
3) Place the new component on the circuit board. Be sure that it matches the footprint.
4) Solder the new component.
USB-C connector P501, P1001
Repair the USB-C connector:
1) Use a hot air gun to melt the solder on the pins.
Remove DP connector
2) Lift the P501, P1001 connector from the PCB.
3) Place the new component on the circuit board. Be sure that it matches the footprint.
4) Solder the new component.
