5. Peel the extend cable o computer chassis to remove it (6).
Reverse this procedure to install the extend cable.

To remove the ngerprint reader board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the ngerprint reader board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 29).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30).
Remove the ngerprint reader board:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (2) that secures the ngerprint reader bracket to the computer,
and then remove the bracket (3).
