2 Power sources
The computer runs on internal or external AC power. The following table indicates the best power
sources for common tasks.
WARNING! To reduce potential safety issues, use only the AC adapter provided with the computer,
a replacement AC adapter provided by HP, or a compatible AC adapter purchased from HP.

Work in most software applications
Charged battery in the computer
External power supplied through one of the following
devices:
AC adapter included with the computer
Optional docking device or expansion product
Optional power adapter
Charge or calibrate a battery in the computer External power supplied through one of the following devices:

WARNING! Do not charge the computer battery while you are
onboard aircraft.
