Clean the drive weekly by inserting a HP DDS cleaning
tape. This will keep the drive clean for maximum
reliability. Do not clean the DDS tape drive too often
since this can reduce the life expectancy of the tape
drive.

for the clean to take place. The tape is ejected at the
end.
