Step 7 Click Pack File to pack the selected software modules into a .dat file. Save the file to the
computer.
Step 8 Close the window shown in Figure 13-3.
Step 9 In the window shown in Figure 13-2, click Browser and select the .dat file created and saved
in Step 7.
Step 10 Click Upgrade.
Step 11 In the displayed dialog box, enter the upgrade password and click OK.

13.2.3 Upgrading the TE30 Using the Bootrom System
If upgrading the TE30 using its normal system fails, you can use the bootrom system to complete
the upgrade
Prerequisites
l A copy of the target software is available on the computer.
l The computer has been connected to the TE30 using a crossover cable or a switch.
