Repairs
Remove and replace the cover and Nomex® barrier
The first step in most maintenance and repair procedures for the Powermax30 is removing the
cover and the Nomex barrier. To protect your power supply, it is important to replace both items
properly when the maintenance is complete.
Removal
1. Turn OFF the power, disconnect the power cord, and disconnect the gas supply.
2. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the 2 screws from the handle on the top of the power
supply. Tip the endcaps back slightly so that you can get the edges of the handle out from
underneath the endcaps. Set the handle screws aside and then lift the cover off the power
supply.
3. Remove the Nomex barrier from the power board side of the power supply.
DANGER
ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN KILL
Disconnect electrical power before performing any maintenance. All work
requiring removal of the power supply cover must be performed by a
qualified technician.
