IDLING
After warming up engine, run at idling.
Check that engine maintains steady,
smooth rotation without gasping,
abnormal noise, abnormal explosions, or
irregular vibration.
Check that idling speed is within specified
range. If it is not within specified range,
adjust rod(1) of accelerator pedal.
Idle rpm : SEE 8.SPECIFICATION

EASE OF STARTING, NOISE
Set gear shift lever at N, and pull parking
brake.
Turn start switch to HEAT(only 20~33DF-7).
Turn start switch ON.
When heater signal lamp goes out, turn
key to START, and start engine.
When engine starts, check if it starts
smoothly, and if it makes any abnormal
noise.
Refer to page 3-28.
