Connecting servers using COs or console switch cables
1. Locate the type of CO or console switch cable to use for connecting each server.
2. Turn off all servers to be connected to the switch.
3. When using a console switch cable, attach the color-coded connectors to the matching colored
keyboard, monitor, and mouse ports on the server.
4. When using a CO, perform the following steps.
a. Attach the connectors to the server. For details, see the Quick Installation Guide shipped
with the CO.
