Because the IBM 5250 Express Installation Program runs from
diskette, when you start the program, thirty or more seconds
might pass before text appears on your screen.

Pressing Enter or clicking on the OK button will accept any
current selection or input and continue running the installation.
4.
Pressing ESC or clicking on the Cancel button will ignore any
current selection or input and exit the installation program.
5.
If
you are asked
to
enter information and you make a mistake
while typing, press the BACKSPACE key and retype the
information.
Installing under the DOS Operating System
Note: Before running the IBM 5250 Express Installation
Program, you must install your 5250 emulation program.
To run the installation program under DOS operating system:
1.
Insert your backup copy
of
Support Diskette
#1
into the
A:
drive.
2.
Type A:INSTALL and press Enter.
3. Follow the directions that the installation program provides.
Installing under the OS/2 Operating System
Important: To install the program under OS/2, you must use the
INSTALL2 command.
If
you use the INSTALL command instead
of
the INSTALL2 command,
WIN-052
might hang.
Before running the IBM 5250 Express Installation Program, you
must install your 5250 emulation program.
To run the installation program under OS/2 Version
2.11
or later:
1.
Insert your backup copy
of
Support Diskette
#1
into the
A:
drive.
2.
At an OS/2 command prompt, type A:INSTALL2 and press
Enter.
3.
Follow the directions that the installation program provides.
