6. Reinstall the hard disk drives and drive bay filler panels into the drive bays
(see “Replacing hot-swap hard disk drives” on page 219 or “Replacing
simple-swap hard disk drives” on page 223).
7. Install the cover (see “Replacing the cover” on page 209).
8. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
9. Slide the server into the rack.
10. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.
Removing the front USB connector assembly
Use this information to remove the front USB connector assembly.
About this task
To remove the front USB connector assembly, complete the following steps:
Procedure
1. Read the safety information that begins on “Safety” on page vii and
“Installation guidelines” on page 33.
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and
all external cables, if necessary.
3. Remove the hard disk drives and filler panels from the hard disk drive bays
(see “Removing hot-swap hard disk drives” on page 218 or “Removing
simple-swap hard disk drives” on page 222).
4. Remove the bezel (see “Removing the bezel” on page 298).
