■ MOB (Man Overboard)
You can enter a Man OverBoard (MOB) waypoint into the transceiver with its GPS
position data, as soon as a person has fallen into the water and needs to be rescued.
This enables you to reach the MOB location even in the dark, or when you have lost
visual contact.
D Starting MOB
Push
to enter the MOB mode.
• Three beeps sound.
• The plotter screen is displayed, and
is displayed at
your current position on the plotter screen.
L The Arrival and XTE alarms are not detected while in
the MOB mode.
TIP: You can also start the MOB mode when you select
the “Start MOB” item on the Menu screen.
[MENU] > Navigation > Start MOB
D Stopping MOB
1. Push
to stop the MOB mode.
• “Deactivate MOB. Are you sure?” is displayed.
2. Push

• disappears, and the transceiver returns to the
previous screen.
TIP: You can also stop the MOB mode by selecting the
“Stop MOB” item on the Menu screen.
[MENU] > Navigation > Stop MOB
