e breakage of the d.h.w. sensor (NB) prevents operation in the d.h.w. phase.
Triggering is indicated by error code 12 on the boiler panel display.
e breakage of the heating sensor (NR) prevents operation in both the heating and d.h.w. modes.
Triggering is indicated by error code 05 on the boiler panel display.
NTC sensor breakage
(NR and NB)
To prevent the water/gas exchanger from overheating, at the end of every heating (opening of the room
thermostat), antifreeze or chimneysweep request, the circulator is kept running for 60 seconds.
Post-circulation pump
After the burner has been switched off, at the end of any type of request, the combustion chamber
is washed and the fan works for 50 seconds at a speed equal to half the set maximum.
Sealed-chamber post-
ventilation
Safety devices.
e circulator is started for 60 seconds after:
- 24 hours of inactivity with the SUM/WIN switch on SUMMER
- 3 hours of inactivity with the SUM/WIN switch on WINTER (radiator antifreeze).
Circulator antilock
If, within 10 seconds from the start of the ignition cycle, the ionisation electrode (E3) fails to detect
the flame on the burner, the control unit (IGN BOARD) sends a signal to the modulating control
board (flame lock). is blocks boiler operation and the alarm is shown on the boiler panel display
with error code 01.
To restore boiler operation it must be reset manually by pressing push button PU1.
Failed ignition lock
If the water overtemperature thermostat contact opens (primary circuit temperature higher than
100°C), boiler operation is blocked. When this safety device triggers it is shown on the boiler panel
display with error code 02.
To restore boiler operation it must be reset manually by pressing push button PU1.
Water overtemperature lock
If the fume overtemperature thermostat contact opens (condensation module external temperature
higher than 100 °C) due to burning impurities settled on the exchanger (soots, oxidations and so on),
the functioning of the boiler will be blocked.
When this safety device triggers it is shown on the boiler panel display with error code 02.
To restore boiler operation it must be reset manually by pressing push button PU1.
Fume overtemperature lock
If a fan speed outside safety limits is detected (700-5,700 rpm), the burner is switched off and
prevented from restarting for 7.5 minutes.
Triggering is indicated by error code 17 on the boiler panel display.
If the speed read drops to 500 rpm without the previous safety device triggering, the boiler switches
to “fan stop” and a manual reset is required with button PU1.
Triggering is indicated by error code 16 on the boiler panel display.
