WarrantyCoverage
YournewJRRemoteControlRadioSystemiswarrantedto
theoriginalpurchaseragainstmanufacturerdefectsinmater-
ialandworkmanshipfor365daysfromthedateofpurchase.
Duringthisperiod,HorizonServiceCenterwill repairor
replace,atourdiscretionandatnocostto thepurchaser,any
componentthatisfoundto befactorydefective.Thiswarran-
ty is limitedtotheoriginalpurchaseroftheunitandisnot
transferable.
Thiswarrantydoesnotapplytoanyunitwhichhasbeen
improperlyinstalled,mishandled,abusedordamagedin a
crash,ortoanyunitwhichhasbeenrepairedoralteredby
anyunauthorizedagencies.Undernocircumstanceswill the
buyerbeentitledtoconsequentialorincidentaldamages.
Thislimitedwarrantygivesyouspecificlegalrights;you
alsohaveotherrightswhichmayvaryfromstateto state.As
withallfineelectronicequipment,do notsubjectyourradio
systemtoextremetemperatures,humidityormoisture.Do
notleaveit indirectsunlightfor longperiodsoftime.
RepairServiceDirections
IntheeventthatyourJRradioneedsservice,pleasefollow
theinstructionslistedbelow.
1.Checkallon/offswitchesto besuretheyareoff.Thiswill
speedtherepairprocessofcheckingbatterycondition.
2. Returnyoursystemcomponentsonly(transmitter,receiv-
er,servos,etc.).Donotreturnyoursysteminstalledin a
modelcar,boat,etc.

3. Preferably,usetheoriginalcarton/packaging(molded
foamcontainer),orequivalent,toshipyoursystem.Donot
usethesystemcartonitselfasashippingcarton-you
shouldpackagethesystemcartonwithinasturdyshipping
containerusingadditionalpackingmaterialtosafeguard
againstdamageduringtransit.Includecompletenameand
addressinformationinsidethecarton,aswellasclearlywrit-
ingit ontheouterlabel/returnaddressarea.
4. Includedetailedinformationexplainingyouroperationof
thesystemandproblem(s)encountered.Provideanitemized
listofequipmentenclosedandidentifyanyparticular
area/functionwhichmaybetterassistourtechniciansin
addressingyourconcerns.Dateyourcorrespondenceandbe
sureyourcompletenameandaddressappearonthisenclo-
sure.
5. Includeyouname,mailingaddress,andaphonenumber
whereyoucanbereachedduringthebusinessday.
6.WarrantyRepairs.Toreceivewarrantyserviceyou
mustincludeyouroriginaldatedsalesreceipttoverifyyour
proof-of-purchasedate.Providingthatwarrantyconditions
havebeenmet,yourradiowill berepairedwithoutcharge.
7.NormalNon-WarrantyRepairs.Shouldyourrepair
costexceed50%oftheretailpurchasecost,youwill bepro-
videdwithanestimateadvisingyouofyouroptions.
Withinyourletter,adviseusofthepaymentmethodyou
preferto use.TheHorizonServiceCenteracceptsonlyVISA
or MasterCard.Pleaseincludeyourcardnumberandexpira-
