(6) Inspection and replacement of the cartridge filter
1. When the sewing machine is used for many hours, cartridge filter
0
may
be
clogged with dust.
When
this state continues, oil is not fed through cartridge filter O
and abnormal worn-out
or
seizure of the sewing machine will be
caused.
• Normally,
be
sure
to
check cartridge filter O every 6 months,
and
clean
or
replace it.
2. Inspecting/replacing procedure
1)
First, remove drain
screw&.
2)
Remove setscrews 8
and
remove upper
cover
8 toward right
above.
(Caution)
When
upper cover 9
is
moved
in
the lateral direction,
the oil amount indicating
rod
or
the fitter
may
be damaged.
3)
Remove
and
inspect
cartridge
filter
8.
If
cartridge
filter
O is
clogged with dust, clean
it
or
replace
it
with a new one.
4) Insert cartridge filter O
in
place and install
upper
cover
G with
setscrews
8.
