Listening to the iPod/iPhone
You can connect the iPod/iPhone using the following cable or adapter:

Watch the video
Interface Adapter for iPod, KS-PD100 (not
supplied) to the CD changer jack on the rear of
the unit.
USB Audio and Video cable for iPod/iPhone,
KS-U30 (not supplied) to the USB cable from the
rear of the unit.
See "When connected with the interface
adapter" (~49).
See "When connected with the USB cable"
below.
• Make sure <iPod (Off» is selected for
<AVlnput>,~ 18.
When connected with the USB cable _
The operation explained below are under "HEAD MODE."
• Moves to the previous/next item of a category*l
• Enters <Search Mode> menu (Hold) (~24)

• Selects a track/video -
• Reverse/forward
search (Hold)
• Press [SOURCE], then press [USB iPod].
Playback starts automatically.
• When you connect the iPod/iPhone to the
USB terminal, "USB iPod" is selected as the
source and playback starts automatically.
• Press and hold iPod tf to select the controlling
unit.
-HEAD MODE: Control playback with this
unit.
-iPod MODE*2:Control playback with the
iPod/iPhone connected.
