Power button
When the power cord is connected to a household AC
outlet, the power indicator is lit red, indicating
STANDBY mode (this indicator does not light when DC
power is supplied). When the power button is pressed,
the indicator turns green showing that the power is on
(this indicator lights with both AC and DC power
supplies).
When this unit is plugged into an AC outlet, it consumes
a small current to operate the remote control and timer,
or to back up the memory of the microprocessor, even
when the POWER button is set to STANDBY.
Boton de alimentacion
Cuando se conecta el cable de alimentacion en un
tomacorriente de alterna, se enciende el indicador
de alimentacion en rojo indicando el modo STANDBY
(este indicador no se enciende cuando se
suministra corriente continua). Al presionar el boton
de alimentacién, el indicador pasa a verde
mostrando que esta conectada la alimentacion (este
indicador se enciende con ambas corrientes alterna
y continua).
Interruttore alimentazione
Quando il cavo di alimentazione é collegato ad una
presa di rete CA, I'indicatore di accensione si illumina in
rosso per indicare il modo di STANDBY (questo
indicatore non si illumina quando viene fornita
alimentazione in CC). Quando Il'interruttore di
accensione viene premuto, I'indicatore diviene verde
per indicare I'attivazione dell'alimentazione (questo
indicatore si illumina sia per l'alimentazione in CA che
in CC).
Cuando esta unidad esta conectada a un
tomacorrientes de CA, consume una pequena
cantidad de corriente para operar e! control remoto

Do not use this unit in direct sunlight or leave the unit
in closed automobiles (or yachts, etc.) where it would
be exposed to high temperatures above 40°C (104°F).
. Avoid installing in the following places
@ Where it could be subject to vibrations.
@ Where it is excessively humid, such as in a
bathroom.
e Where it could be magnetized by a magnet or
speaker.
Pay attention to dust
Be sure to close the CD door so the lens is not
contaminated by dust. Do not touch the lens.
Condensation
In the following cases, condensation may occur on the
lens, in which case the unit may not operate correctly.
@ In aroom where a heater has just been switched on.
@ In aplace where there is smoke or high humidity.
@ When the unit is moved directly from a cold to a warm
room.
In these cases, set the POWER button to ON and wait
{or2 hours before use.

unidad no funcionara correctamenie.

@ Cuando la unidad haya sido trasladada
directamente de un sitio frio a otro de mayor
temperatura.
En estos casos, coloque ei interruptor POWER en
ON y espere 1 6 2 horas antes de utilizar la unidad.

® In luoghi eccessivamente umidi come una stanza da
bagno.
@ /n luoghi dove I'unita pud essere magnetizzata da un
magnete o da un diffusore.
Fare attenzione alla polvere
Accertarsi di chiudere lo sportello del CD per evitare
che la lente si impolveri. Non toccare /a lente.
. Condensa
Nei casi seguenti si potrebbe formare della condensa
sulla lente impedendo il normale funzionamento.
@ /nuna stanza in cui il riscaldamento é appena stato
acceso.
® /nunluogo fumoso o con elevata umidita.
@ Quando I'unita viene spostata direttamente da una
stanza fredda ad una calda.
In questi casi, portare l'interruttore di accensione su
ON ed attendere 1 o 2 ore prima dell'uso.
