Secondary Services
You may see a “<<” symbol after the name of the station, this indicates that there are
secondary services available to that station. These secondary services contain extra
services that are related to the primary station. e.g. a sports station may want to add extra
commentaries. The secondary services are inserted directly after the primary station in the
station list.
To select the secondary station, press TUNE+/TUNE– on the remote control when the “>>”
appears in the display before the station name. When the secondary service ends, the unit
will automatically switch back to the primary station.
DRC (Dynamic Range Compression)
If you are listening to music with high dynamic range in a noisy environment, you may wish
to compress the audio dynamic range.
1. During DAB mode, press and hold
on the unit or press REPEAT/MENU on the remote
control and then press / or / or TUNE+/TUNE– on the remote control to
select <DRC>. Press the on the unit or OK/ on the remote control to conrm.
2. Press
/ or / or TUNE+/TUNE– on the remote control to select <OFF/LOW/
HIGH> and press on the unit or OK/ button on the remote control to conrm.
Pruning Radio Stations
You may remove all unavailable stations from the list.
1. Press
on the unit or REPEAT/MENU on the remote control and then press / or
/ or TUNE+/TUNE– on the remote control to select <PRUNE>. Press on the
unit or OK/ on the remote control to conrm.
2. Press
/ or / or TUNE+/TUNE– on the remote control to select <PRUNE Y>.
Press
on the unit or OK/ on the remote control to conrm, or select <PRUNE N>
to cancel.
Presetting Stations
You can store up to 20 of your favourite stations to the memory. This will enable you to
access your favourite stations quickly and easily.
To store a preset, you must rst be listening to the station that you would like to save.
• Using the Remote Control
1. Press and hold PROG/PRESET on the remote control. The display will show “## EMPTY”.
2. Press TUNE+ or TUNE– to select your desired preset station number.
3. Press OK/
button to conrm.
4. The station will be stored and the screen will then show “STORED“.

• Using the Main Unit
Press and hold PROG/PRESET on the remote control to enter preset menu.

/ or / to select your desired preset station number.
2. Press
to conrm.
3. The station will be stored and the screen will then show “STORED“.
