3.1 Introduction
This section contains detailed information on the various
Model 2001 IEEE-488 bus calibration commands. Section 2
of this manual covers detailed calibration procedures, and
Appendix B lists several calibration programs. For informa-
tion on additional commands to control other instrument
functions, refer to the Model 2001 Operator’s Manual.
Information in this section includes:
3.2 Command summary: Summarizes all commands nec-
essary to perform comprehensive, AC, and low-level
calibration.
3.3 CALibration:PROTected subsystem: Gives detailed
explanations of the various commands used for both
comprehensive and low-level calibration.
3.4 CALibration:UNPRotected subsystem: Discusses the
:ACC command, which is used to perform AC user cal-
ibration over the bus.
3.5 Bus error reporting: Summarizes bus calibration er-
rors, and discusses how to obtain error information.
3.6 Detecting calibration step completion: Covers how to
determine when each calibration step is completed by
using the *OPC and *OPC? commands.

Table 3-1 summarizes Model 2001 calibration commands
along with the paragraph number where a detail description
of each command is located.
