Baste (or luse with iron-on fabric
joiner) applique pieces on the tabnc.
Stitch around the applique making
sure the needle lalls along the outer
edge ot the applique.
When sewing corners, lower the
needle down into the labric. Raise the
presser loot and pivot the labric to the
right or left.

This stitch is similar to a very short
satin stitch and is used to reintorce
poinls of strain such as corners or
pockets and straps on lingerie.
Sew 4 to 6 zigzag stitches.
