Contact Actuation Mode
• Contact actuation allows fast, repetitive fastener placement.
Note: In Contact Actuation Mode, the tool may also be operated by depressing workpiece
contact (C) against work surface and squeezing trigger (H) (Single Actuation Mode).
1. Disconnect tool from air supply (not included). Depress
actuation mode selector (G) and rotate it to Position B.
Release actuation mode selector (G).
Note: The actuation mode selector (G) is spring loaded
and held in position by locking tab to prevent movement
during operation.
2. Reconnect tool to air supply (not included). Grip tool
rmly then squeeze and hold trigger (H). Depress the
workpiece contact (C) against work surface to drive
a fastener. Fasteners can be driven repeatedly until
trigger is released.
Note: Allow tool to recoil away from work surface as the
fastener is driven.
WARNING
• During normal use, the tool will recoil immediately after
driving a fastener. DO NOT attempt to prevent recoil by
holding the tool against the work suface. Restricting the
recoil could result in a second fastener being driven from
the tool.
• Make sure to grip handle rmly, letting the tool do the
work. DO NOT not place second hand on top of tool
at any time. Doing so could result in serious personal
injury.
