OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
DRY-FIRE LOCKOUT
• When the magazine (E) is almost empty, the dry-re lockout feature will disable operation to prevent
damage to the tool.
• To resume operation, reload the tool with fasteners.
USING SELECTABLE TRIGGER
• This tool is shipped from the factory with a selectable trigger set in Single Actuation mode. The
selectable trigger can also be set for Contact Actuation mode.
WARNING
• The tool will not function properly if the actuation mode selector (G) is not securely seated in either
position A or B. ALWAYS ensure the actuation mode selector (G) is seated properly to avoid an
unexpected fastener discharge and/or serious personal injury.
Single Actuation Mode
• Single actuation provides the most accurate fastener placement.
1. Disconnect tool from air supply (not included). Depress
actuation mode selector (G) and rotate to Position A.
Release the actuation mode selector (G).
Note: The actuation mode selector (G) is spring loaded
and held in position by locking tab to prevent movement
during operation.
2. Reconnect tool to air supply (not included). Grip tool
rmly and depress workpiece contact (C) against work
surface. Squeeze the trigger (H) to drive a fastener.
Note: Allow tool to recoil away from work surface as the
fastener is driven.
WARNING
• During normal use, the tool will recoil immediately after
driving a fastener. DO NOT attempt to prevent recoil
by holding the tool against the work suface. Restricting
the recoil could result in a second fastener being driven
from the tool.
• Make sure to grip handle rmly, letting the tool do the
work. DO NOT not place second hand on top of tool
at any time. Doing so could result in serious personal
injury.
