4. Mount the nozzle set:
a. Screw on paint nozzle (See Fig. 8).
b. Attach the air cap w/ring and tighten
(See Fig. 9).
c. Put on paint needle (See Fig. 10).
d. Attach the needle spring (See Fig.11).
e. Screw on the fluid adjustment knob
(See Fig. 12).
The air cap wings
are horizontal.

NOTE: Test spray pattern before use again. During normal use, the air cap wings are
horizontal and the air cap should be pointed
up as shown (See Figure 13). This
provides a vertical fan-shaped pattern which
gives maximum and even material
coverage as the gun is moved back and forth parallel to the surface being finished.
