During repair operations, when using compressed air,
wear eye protection.
Flywheel extraction
Use extractor cod. 00365R0020, as shown in gure 1.
During the demounting phases, pay particular attention to
prevent the ywheel from dropping as this could seriously
injure the operator.
Wear protective goggles when removing the ywheel ring.
IMPORTANT: Do not tap the end of the extractor when re-
moving the ywheel.
Crankshaft gear extraction
Use extractor cod. 00365R0010 and cod. 00365R0100 (g. 2).
Camshaft gear extraction
Use extractor cod. 00365R0010 (g. 3).
Oil pressure register valve extraction
Use extractor cod. 00365R0880 (g. 4).
DISASSEMBLY OF THE ENGINE
DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
Besides disassembly and reassembly operations this chapter also
includes checking and setting specications, dimensions, repair and
operating instructions. Always use original Kohler spare parts for re-
pair operations.
