Running-in table

In order to check that the setting is correct, without tools,
accelerate the engine a few times with no load and check
the exhaust fumes.
Delivery of diesel fuel is correctly calibrated when the
exhaust gas is slightly coloured by smoke; change the
adjustment if necessary by turning the adjustment screw
(g. 94).
Engine power curves are reported at page 12.
Testing engine on brake
After having placed the engine on the brake (g. 92), proceed with
the following operations:
1
. Check oil level (g. 93).
2. Start engine and run at minimum speed.
3. Check oil pressure on pressure gauge (g. 90).
4. Run engine in before testing it at full power.
