(4) The DF is shifted in the direction of the arrow,
and the position of the scale is adjusted.
<For models 266i/246i/226i>
• If the value of “Scale” on the screen is a positive
number: A direction
• If the value of “Scale” on the screen is a negative
number: B direction
<For models 225i/215i/205i>
• If the difference in deviations is a positive num-
ber: A direction
• If the difference in deviations is a negative num-
ber: B direction
(5) After the adjustment procedure has been com-
pleted, tighten the two screws which has been
loosened in step (3).
(6) Reinstall the DF rear cover while lifting the doc-
ument feeding tray. (Four screws)
Note:
When reattaching the cover, put the film inside the
cover.
(7) Close the DF top door.
■ Attaching the original mat
(1) Raise the DF.
(2) Place the original mat on the document glass.
Note:
There is no distinction in the front and rear direc-
tion of the original mat.
(3) Peel the seal off as shown in the illustration.
