11.13 Removing the lower triple clamp
Preparatory work
– Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 50)
– Remove the front wheel. ( p. 100)
– Remove the fork legs. ( p. 54)
– Remove the start number plate. ( p. 62)
– Remove front fender. ( p. 62)
– Remove the handlebar cushion.

Open cable holder

on the left and detach the wiring
harness.

Remove screw

Remove screw

– Take off the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and set
aside.

Cover the components to protect them against dam-
age.
Do not kink the cables and lines.
