11.10 Installing the lower triple clamp

Main work
– Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage,
and grease.
High viscosity grease ( p. 124)
– Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount
upper steering head bearing

– Position the upper triple clamp with the handlebar.

Mount nut

, but do not tighten yet.

– Position the fork legs.
Air bleeder screw

the front.

of the left fork leg faces the front.
Info
The second milled groove (from the top) must be flush
with the upper edge of the upper triple clamp.
The air suspension is located in the left fork leg. The
rebound and compression damping is located in the
right fork leg.
