OPERATING THE MACHINE20
BDifferential Lock Pedal
To avoid personal injury:
A Do not drive at high speed or turn the machine
when the differential is locked. Release the lock
before making such a turn.
If one of the front wheels should slip, step on the
differential lock pedal. Then both wheels will turn together,
reducing slippage.
The differential lock is applied only when the pedal is
being depressed.
A If the "Differential Lock" will not release when the pedal
is released, alternately step the speed control pedal
forward and backward slightly.
A Do not apply the differential lock pedal when traveling
at high speed, or damage to the transmission may
result.
