40 PERIODIC SERVICE
PERIODIC SERVICE
To avoid personal injury:
A Do not work under any hydraulically supported
devices. They can settle, suddenly leak down,
or be accidentally lowered. If necessary to work
under tractor or any machine elements for
servicing or adjustment, securely support them
with stands or suitable blocking beforehand.
HOW TO OPEN THE HOOD
To avoid personal injury from contact with moving
parts;
A Never open the hood or engine side cover while
the engine is running.
A Do not touch muffler or exhaust pipes while
they are hot; Severe burns could result.
A Hold the hood with other hand while unlocking
release lever.
BHood
To open the hood, hold the hood and pull the release lever
and open the hood.
A To close the hood, push the hood into position using
both hands.
BSide Cover
1. Remove the bolts at the both sides and detach the side
cover.
2. To attach the side cover, insert the bottom pin of side
cover first, and then tighten the bolts.
(1) Release lever
(2) Hood
(A) "PULL"
(1) Side cover
(2) Bolt
