6 . ADJUSTMENTS
6 .1 HANDLE HEIGHT
Adjust the handle
height for easy mowing work .
(1) Loosen the handle hook bolts
at both sides .
(2) Raise or lower the handles to
your desired level .
(3) Retighten up the handle hook bolts .

6 .2 CUTTING HEIGHT
The cutting height is adjustable in 6 stages .
(For
TC model)
16mm (5/8in .), 25mm (iin .), 38mm (1-1/2in
.), 51mm
(2in .), 63mm (2-1/2in .), and 76mm (3in .)
(For HTC model)
25mm (1in .), 38mm (1-1/2in .), 51mm (2in .),
63mm
(2-1/2in .), 76mm
(3in .), 89mm (3-1/2in .)
(1) Be sure that the engine is at a complete stop .
(2) Pull the cutting height adjusting
levers (each at the
front and rear wheels) outward . Move these levers
back or forth . Keep in mind that all the levers at the
four wheels should be at the same
position .

.3 THROTTLE LEVER
(1) Set the throttle
lever to the " 4r@ " (high)
position .
Adjust the throttle cable
adjusting bolt and lock
nuts
until the speed control lever
hits the stop,
then tigh-
ten the
lock nuts .
(1) Choke adjusting screw
(2) Speed control lever
(3) " A# " position stop
(2) Check
that the choke arm is at its left most position
(open) when the throttfe lever
is at the " -to " position
and at its right most position (closed) when
the thrott-
le lever is at the
"Choke" position .
(1) Throttle cable lock nut
(2) Throttle cable adjusting bolt
(1) Choke arm
(a) "Open"
(b) "Closed"
