Spark Plug Check and Adjustment
Dirty electrode or excessive gap can cause poor sparking.
Cleaning Method
Use a Spark Plug Cleaning Device is the best way If a
Spark Plug Cleaning Device is not available, clean with a
needle brush.
Adjustment
Normal Gap of Spark Plug is 0.7-0.8mm (See the Figure).
Do not use a Spark Plug other than the specified one.
Caution
Engine is very hot after stopping, be careful not to
get burnt.
Tighten the plug by hand, followed by using a
Spark Plug Spanner.
Specified Spark Plug:
(NGK) CR7E
Tightening Torque:
100-140 kgf-cm
