3. Mount the scooter from the left side keeping at least
one foot on the ground to steady the scooter.
4. Before starting off, indicate your direction with the turn
signals, and check for safe traffic conditions. Grasp the
handlebars firmly with both hands. Never attempt one-
handed operation; loss of vehicle control could result.
5. To accelerate, open the throttle gradually; the scooter
will move forward.
Do not "BLIP" the throttle (open and close rapidly) as
the scooter will move forward suddenly, causing
possible loss of control.
6. To decelerate, close throttle.
