FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION
INSPECTION
1. Check the fork assembly by locking the front
brake and pumping the fork up and down
vigorously. Suspension action should be
smooth and there must be no oil leakage.
2. Swing arm bearings should be checked by
pushing hard against the side of the rear
wheel while the scooter is on the center
stand. Free play indicates worn bearings.
3. Carefully inspect all front and rear
suspension fasteners for tightness.
A higher concentration of antifreeze decreases
the cooling system performance and is
recommended only when additional protection
against freezing is needed. A concentration of
less than 40:60 (40% antifreeze) will not
provide proper corrosion protection. During
freezing temperatures, check the cooling
system frequently and add higher
concentrations of antifreeze (up to a maximum
of 60% antifreeze) if required.
