THROTTLE OPERATION

To adjust the free play:
1. Check for smooth rotation of the throttle grip from the
fully open to the fully closed position at both full
steering positions.
2. Measure the throttle grip free play at the throttle grip
flange.
The standard free play should approximately:
1. Slide the rubber sleeve (1) back to expose the throttle
cable adjuster (2).
2. Loosen the lock nut (3), then turn the adjuster to obtain
the correct free play.
3. Tighten the lock nut and reinstall the sleeve.
