ANTI-CORROSION WARRANTY
10 year warranty terms and conditions for corrosion to the Rooftop casing:
Lennox shall guarantee the casing of its Rooftop units manuf actured since May 1991 against corrosion for 10 y ears
commencing from the date of delivery of the material.
The warrant y shall not apply in t he f ollowing cases:
1. If the c orros ion of the c as ing is c aus ed by ext ernal dam age t o t he prot ectiv e lay er s uc h as s c rat c hes, projections,
abrasion, impacts etc...
2. If the c as ing is not kept c ont inually clean in t he course of maintenance work or by a specialist company,
3. If the c as ing is not cleaned and maint ained in ac c ordanc e wit h regulat ions ,
4. If the R oof t op unit s are ins t alled on a s it e or in an env ironm ent whic h is known t o be c orros iv e, unless a s pecial
protectiv e c o a t i n g h a s been applied by t he own e r f or t hes e applic at ions , whic h has been rec om m ended by a
competent body not linked to the owner and after carrying out a study of the site.
5. Nev ertheless the LENNOX coating is highly resistant to corrosion, the warranty will not be applied for rooftop installed
at less than 1000m away f rom the sea
Note:
With the exception of the casing, the rest of the machine is cov ered by the warranty of our general terms of sale.
DO NOT CONFUSE THE WARRANTY WIT H M AINT ENA NC E
The warranty will only apply if a maintenance contract has been signed, starting from the date of commissioning, and if the
maintenance contract has actually been performed.
The m aint enanc e c ontract m ust be m ade wit h a s pecialist, com pet ent c om pany .
The s ole effect of any repair, modif ication or replacement of an item during the warranty period must be to extend the
material's warranty period.
Maint enanc e must be c arried out in acc ordance wit h regulat ions.
If a s pare part is supplied af t er t he ex piry of the warranty period, it s h a l l b e g u a r a nt e e d f o r a p e r i o d e q u a l t o t h e i n i t i a l wa r r a n ty
period and will be subject to the same conditions.
We recommend f or a contract f our inspections per y ear (ev ery three months), bef ore the start of each season, in order to
check the operation of the equipment in the v arious operating modes.
