onthewall.

Electriccurrentfrompower,telephone,andcommunicationcablesishazardous.T oavoidshock
hazard,disconnectthecablesbeforeopeningthecoverofthisslot.
Attention:BeforeyoustartinstallingaPCIExpressMiniCard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetal
object.Thisactionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Thestaticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
ToreplacethePCIExpressMiniCard,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait
threetoveminutestoletthecomputercool.
2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.
3.Removethebattery.See“Replacingthebattery”onpage33.
4.Removethescrews1,andthenremovethecover2.
5.Ifatoolforremovingconnectorsisincludedinthepackagewiththenewcard,useittodisconnectthe
cables
3fromthecard.Ifnosuchtoolisincluded,disconnectthecablesbypickinguptheconnectors
withyourngersandgentlyunpluggingthem.Thenremovethescrew4andthecardpopsup.
