Vibration
1. People with poor circulation who are exposed to
excessivevibration may experience injuryto blood
vesselsorthenervoussystem.Vibrationmaycause
thefollowingsymptomstooccurinthengers,hands
or wrists: “Falling asleep” (numbness), tingling,
pain,stabbingsensation,alterationofskincolor or
oftheskin.Ifany ofthesesymptomsoccur, seea
physician!
2. To reduce the risk of “white nger disease”, keep
yourhandswarmduringoperationandwellmaintain
thetoolandaccessories.
Transport
1. Beforetransportingthetool,turnitoffandwithdraw
the mains plug. Attach the cover to the cutting
blade.
2. When transporting the tool, carry it in a horizontal
positionbyholdingtheshaft.
3. When transporting the tool in a vehicle, properly
secureittoavoidturnover.Otherwisedamagetothe
toolandotherbaggagemayresult.
Maintenance
1. Have your tool serviced by our authorized service
center, always using only genuine replacement
parts. Incorrect repair and poor maintenance can
shortenthelifeofthetoolandincreasetheriskof
accidents.
2. Before doing any maintenance or repair work or
cleaningthetool,alwaysturnitoffandwithdrawthe
mainsplug.
3. Always wear protective gloves when handling the
cuttingblade.
4. Always clean dust and dirt off the tool. Never use
gasoline,benzine,thinner,alcoholorthelikeforthe

5. Aftereachuse,tightenallscrewsandnuts.

Storage

Power switch action (Fig. 2)
WARNING:
• Before plugging in, always check to see that the
switch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the “OFF” position when released. Do not pull the
switch trigger hard without sliding the lock-off
lever. This can cause switch breakage.Operatinga
tool with a switch that does not actuate properly can
leadtolossofcontrolandseriouspersonalinjury.
To prevent the switch trigger from being accidentally
pulled,alock-offleverisprovided.

pulltheswitchtrigger.Releasetheswitchtriggertostop.
