unit (BFM#999). This operation needs to be triggered along the way, and cannot continue to write 1 to the
corresponding position of BFM#999, otherwise it will cause continuous self-tuning. And when the control
starts (write 1 in the control start/stop setting unit), the corresponding channel of MTC will start the PID
parameter self-tuning. When the channel self-tuning process is completed, the corresponding channel
position of the self-tuning completion setting value unit (BFM999) will change from 1 to 0. At the same
time, the proportional band, integral time and differential time of the channel PID control parameter unit
will change to the control parameters after self-tuning. The self-setting deviation (BFM#1032 ~
BFM#1035) unit needs to be set before self-setting. For example, when the first channel is used, the
temperature setting value (BFM#909) is 1000, which means 100.0℃. The self-setting deviation is set to
-300, which means -30.0℃. The controlled temperature will oscillate at the self-tuning time. To prevent
the temperature from exceeding the allowable temperature of the equipment, the proper self-tuning
deviation should be selected.
Figure 5-5 self-tuning schematic diagram
Note: in the process of self-setting, the set value, deviation value, digital filter value, output upper
limit, output lower limit cannot be changed, otherwise it may lead to unreasonable parameters.
After the completion of the self-tuning process, due to the change of the object or the change of
the set value, the channel needs to be self-tuning again, you can re-operate in the above way.
5.3 alarm function
5.3.1 Alarm type
There are 14 alarm types in MTC, which are set by the alarm type setting unit (BFM# 600 ~ BFM# 603),
as shown in table 5-1. The set alarm type will apply to all channels.
