Fuses
The fuse box is located in the engine
compartment.
All fuse protected equipment is listed
by number and letter on a label in the
lid of the fuse box. The numbers and
letters above the fuses correspond to
the ones on the label.
To gain access to the fuses, loosen
clamp (1), lift the fuse box cover up
and remove.
Before replacing a blown fuse, deter
mine the cause of the short circuit.
Spare fuses are furnished inside the
fuse box. Observe amperage and co
lor of fuse.
Always use a new fuse for replace
ment. Never attempt to fix or bridge a
blown fuse.
After replacing the fuse, engage the
fuse box cover at the rear and secure
with clamp (1).
Spark Plugs
This vehicle is equipped with spark
plugs as required for driving in the
USA. Should additional information be
necessaiy, your MERCEDES-BENZ
dealer will be happy to offer advice.
Remove and install spark plugs (pro
vided with sealing cone) only with
combination wrench from the vehicle
tool kit or with a recommended spark
plug wrench.
Tightening torque 10-20 Nm
(715 Ib-ft).
