Electrical, Fuel Hose, and Control Cables
RIGGING GROMMET
Installation
IMPORTANT: Sufficient slack must exist in wiring harnesses, battery cables,
and hoses, that are routed between the rigging grommet and engine
attachment points, to relieve stress and prevent hoses from being kinked or
pinched.
1. Route the hoses, wiring, and cables through the rigging adapter and
correct opening in the rigging grommet as shown.
a - Screws M6 x 30 (2)
b - Screw M6 x 50
c - Rigging adapter
d - Rigging grommet
e - Battery cable opening
f - Remote 14 pin boat harness opening
g - SmartCraft harness or additional harness opening
h - Accessory harness opening
i - Shift cable opening
j - Speedometer tube opening
k - Fuel hose opening
l - Throttle cable opening
