Precautions in the Event of an Accident
•EnsurethevehicleisinP,theparkingbrakeisappliedandthevehiclepowersystemisOFF.
•Ifanycablesonthevehicleareexposed,inordertopreventelectricshockorevendeathDONOTmakeanycontact
with any cable.
•Ifthevehiclecatchesre,andthereissmallandslow,acarbondioxideextinguishercanbeusedtoextinguishthe
re,andcontactthereservicesassoonaspossible;ifthereislargeandspreadingquickly,immediatelyevacuate
thevehicleandcontactthereservicesimmediately.
• If the vehicle is involved in a collision and cannot be re-started, the negative cable of 12V battery MUST be disconnected
priortorescue.
•Whenthevehicleiscompletelyorpartiallyimmersedinwater,switchoffthevehiclepowersystemandevacuatethe
carimmediately.Thenegativecableof12VbatteryMUSTbedisconnectedpriortorescueorassoonasthevehicle
isreoated/removedfromthewater.Observethewater/vehicleforanyabnormalsignssuchasexcessivebubblesor
noises, this may indicate battery short circuit issues. If no signs are evident, there should not be a shock risk from the
bodywork and recovery can commence.
