IfanygearotherthanPisselectedandthevehicle
speedisbelow1.2mph,Parkcanbeengagedusingthe
followingprocedure:
1PressthePbuttontoengagePgear;
2T urnofftheSTART/STOPswitchandthevehicle
engagesPgearautomatically.
3Withthebrakepedalreleasedandthedriver'sseat
beltunfastened,whenopeningthedriver'sdoorthe
vehicleengagesPgearautomatically.
•R:Reverse
Selectthisgearonlywhenthevehicleisstationaryand
theengineisrunningatidlespeed.
Withthebrakepedaldepressed,pressandholdthe
UNLOCKbutton,pushtheshiftleverforwardtothe
end,thevehicleengagesRgear .
•N:Neutral
Selectthisgearwhenthevehicleisstationary(for
example,waitingfortrafclights).
