HillStart(StartAssist)
Incasesofahillstart,wherethevehiclehasbeenstationary
forsometime,thefootbrakehasbeenreleasedandthe
electronicparkingbrakeapplied,thestartingaidfunctionof
theelectronicparkingbrake(EPB)canbeusedtoprevent
thevehiclefromrollingbackwards.Withtheseatbelt
safelyfastened,pressthefootbrake,applytheelectronic
parkingbrakesystem,andselectthedesiredgear(D/R),
thenreleasethefootbrake;presstheacceleratorpedalto
engagevehicledrive,theelectronicparkingbrakesystem
willautomaticallybedeactivated.

EnergyRegeneration
Decelerationcausedbyenergyregeneration
isNOTasubstituteforbrakingrequired
forsafety.ALWAYSprepareforbrakingto
ensuresafedriving.
Whenthevehicleisinabraking,over-runorcoasting
state,theenergyregenerationfunctionisactivated,the
motorconvertspartofthekineticenergyofthevehicle
intoelectricenergy,whichisthenstoredinthehighvoltage
battery.
Energycannotberegeneratedorislimitedundersome
conditions,suchas:
•Ngearisselected;
•Duringtorqueintervention(gearshifting,tyreskidding,
etc.);
•Highvoltagebatteryisfullycharged;
•Highvoltagebatterytemperatureistoohighortoolow.
