StabilityControlSystem(SCS)
SCSisdesignedtoassistthedriverincontrolofdriving
direction.TheSCSautomaticallyentersStandbymode
afterthepowersystemisstarted.
WhenSCSdetectsthatthevehicleisnotmovinginthe
intendeddirection,itwillintervenebyapplyingbrakeforce

totherightdirection.
T ractionControlSystem(TCS)
ThepurposeofTCSistoaidtraction,therebyhelpingthe
drivertomaintaincontrolofthecarinsituationswhere
oneorbothofthedrivingwheelsarespinning(forexample,
ifonewheelisoniceandtheotherontarmac).TCS
monitorsthedrivingspeedofeachwheelindividually.If
spinisdetectedononewheel,thesystemautomatically
brakesthatwheel,transferringtorquetotheopposite,
non-spinningwheel.Ifbothwheelsarespinning,thesystem
willreducetheoutputtorqueofthepowersysteminorder
toregulatewheelrotationuntiltractionisregained.
