Y ourcarisequippedwith2towingeyes(locatedatthe
frontandtherearofthevehicle),whichareusedfor
ttingthetowinghookinthetoolkit.Thetoolkitis
placedbeneaththeloadspaceoor.T otthetowinghook,
removethesmallcoversetintothebumper,thenscrew
thetowinghookviathesmallholeintothethreadedhole
inthebumperbeam(seeillustration).Ensurethetowing
hookisfullytightened!
Note:Thesmallcoverremovedmaybesecuredtothe
bumperbyaplasticcord.
Bothtowingpointsareintendedforusingbyqualied
recoveryspecialiststoassistintherecoveryofyour
vehiclewhenabreakdownoraccidentoccurs.Theyare
notdesignedfortowingothervehicles,andmustNEVER
beusedtotowatrailerorcaravan.Thevehiclecanbe
towedusingatowropebutatowingbarisrecommended.

Whentowing,DONOTaccelerateorbrake
suddenly,thiscancauseaccidents.
DONOTtowthevehiclewiththedrivenfront
wheelsincontactwiththeroadsurface.
Whenpushingortowingthevehicleontothe
transporter,thedriver'ssideseatbeltshould
beinsertedintothelockandmaintainedin
theinsertedstateinordertoreleasetheEPB.
Thespeedmustremainbelow3mphandbe
completedwithin3minutes.

DONOTletthehighvoltagebatterypack
touchtheground.
Ifyourvehicleneedstobetowed,mostqualiedrecovery
specialistswillusewheelliftequipmenttosuspendthe
vehicle.ThedrivenwheelsMUSTbesuspendedabove
theground,thisistoavoidanydamagetothedrive
componentsandpossibleinadvertentpoweringofthe
vehicle.Ensuretheparkingbrakeisreleased,thehazard
