restraint on a seat protected by
an ACTIVE AIRBAG in front of it,

install a rear facing child restraint
on the front passenger seat, use
the key to deactivate the front
passengerairbagfunction,orsevere
injuryorevendeathcanoccur.
Once the child restraint is removed
from the front passenger seat, use
the key to reactivate the front
passengerairbag.
When installing a child restraint on
thefront passengerseat, movethe
frontpassengerseatasfarrearward
aspossible.
