Sunroof *
The sunroof consists two pieces of glass and
one sunshade. The front glass can be opened
by sliding or tilting, the rear one is fixed and
cannot be opened, and the sunshade can slide
open.
Instructions
DO NOT allow passengers to lean
out of an open sunroof whilst the
vehicle is in motion. Injuries may
occur from objects such as tree
branches.
Safety of the vehicle occupants
must be observed at all times. DO
NOTallowlimbstobeplacedinthe
movingpath of the sunroof atany
time,injurymayoccur.
• Avoid fully opening the sunroof during
rain showers.
• It is advised not to open the sunroof at
high speeds.
• Where possible, please clean any residual
water or raindrops off the sunroof prior
to opening. Failure to do so may result in
water entering the car.
• DO NOT use abrasive materials to clean
the sunroof glass. Use alcohol based
solvent.
• DO NOT hold the operating switch in
the open/close position for any length
of time after operation is complete, this
could damage the electrical components.
• Clean the sunroof regularly to maintain
operation and performance. Visit an
MG Authorised Repairer for service as
required.
Sunroof Operation
When the START/STOP Switch is set to
ACC or ON/READY, you can operate the
sunroof.
Switch 1 is used to operate the sunroof
sunshade, and switch 2 is used to operate
the sunroof glass. The operational function is
identified by the icons on the switches.
