Heat accumulator
This dishwasher is equipped with a heat
accumulator, in which fresh water for
the programme is pre-heated and
stored in order to save energy. The heat
accumulator is refilled with fresh water
towards the end of each rinse cycle.
The water is held here ready for the
next rinse cycle.
If you do not wish to use this function, it
can be switched off (see “Settings –
Heat accumulator”).
If the dishwasher is disconnected from
the mains for a longer time or the water
in the heat accumulator has not been
used for several weeks, the water will
be automatically drained off for hygiene
reasons. This procedure takes a few
minutes and will occur even with the
dishwasher switched off or the door
open.
Please ensure that the dishwasher is
properly connected.
The display will remain dark while the
heat accumulator is drained off. If you
touch the sensor control, the display
will show the message Empty heat accu-
mulator. Other functions will be unavail-
able during this procedure.
Automatic emptying cannot be interrup-
ted.
During the subsequent programme se-
quence, water and energy consumption
will be higher.
The heat accumulator can be manually
drained for transporting the dishwasher,
e.g. when moving house (see “Settings
– Heat accumulator”).
The heat accumulator should only be
used in conjunction with a cold water
connection.
This function should be switched off
if your dishwasher is connected to a
hot water connection.
