Problem Cause and remedy
Venting DOS cancelled.
Venting must be repeated.
Venting of the dispensing system was cancelled because an insucient ow rate has been
identied. A dispensing hose may be kinked or the siphon blocked.
Check the dispensing hose for kinks or leaks. Position it so that it cannot be kinked.
Check the suction aperture on the siphon for blockages and remove these as necessary.
Start the venting process again.
Contact Eschmann if there are leaks in the dispensing hose or a fault with the siphon in the 5
litre container.
Check container/siphon
DOS
Little or no ow has been identied.
Check the level in the supply container and replace if necessary.
Check the suction aperture of the siphon for deposits.
Vent the dispensing system.
The dispensing hose is blocked.
Remove any kinks from the dispensing hose. Position it so it cannot become kinked.
Check the dispensing hose for leaks
Vent the dispensing system.
Contact Eschmann if there are leaks in the dispensing hose or a fault with the siphon.
Highly viscous (thick) chemicals can aect the dispenser monitoring and lead to inaccurate data. In this instance
please contact Eschmann for advice. The viscosity does not aect dosage concentration levels.

Rell the reactivation salt before starting the next programme
Machine locking out
insucient salt
Salt in the water softener is completely depleted and reactivation is no longer possible. The
machine is locked for further use.
Rell the reactivation salt.
Salt container empty,
programme locked out
The water softener cannot reactivate because there is insucient salt. The machine is locked
for further use. Rell the reactivation salt.
The lock is lifted a couple of seconds after relling the salt reservoir. Reactivation will occur
automatically during the next programme.
Salt container lid not
correctly closed
Salt residues are preventing it from closing.
Remove the residues from the relling funnel, the lid and the seal.
Close the container properly.
