Faulty components must only be replaced by genuine Miele
original spare parts. Miele can only guarantee the safety standards of
the machine when Miele replacement parts are used.
Please observe the instructions in “Installation and connection”
and “Technical data”.
The plug of the washing machine (if fitted) must be accessible at all
times to ensure that the washing machine can be disconnected from
the electricity supply at any time.
If the machine is hard wired, an all-pole isolator must be installed.
The means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring
in accordance with the wiring rules, AS/NZS 3000.
If the washing machine is hard wired, provision must be made on
site to switch off all poles from the electricity supply. The
disconnection switch must be located in the immediate area around
the washing machine, and must always be visible, accessible and
easily reachable.
For washing machine versions without a separate emergency stop
switch, there must be a central emergency stop mechanism at the
place of installation.
